Refund & Cancellation Policy

A reading is a piece of work made individually for you, so the point of no return is when that work begins — not when you pay. This policy says exactly where that line falls.
Before work begins — full refund
You may cancel for any reason, with no explanation required, at any point before we begin preparing your reading. You receive a full refund.
In practice this gives you a genuine window: work does not start the instant you pay. Email us and we will confirm your cancellation.
After your reading is delivered
Once your report has been released to you, it cannot be refunded. It is a completed piece of written work, delivered in full, and it cannot be returned.
What you get instead is better than a partial refund: every reading includes one round of follow-up questions at no charge. If something in the report is unclear, or does not seem to address what you asked, tell us and we will answer.
If the birth details were wrong
- If we made the error — a mistyped detail on our side — we correct it and reissue the reading at no charge, whenever you find it.
- If the details you supplied were wrong and you tell us before the reading is written, we will use the corrected details at no charge.
- If you discover the error after the reading is written, the chart is a different chart and the work must be done again. We offer a substantial discount on the second reading rather than charging in full.
If we cannot complete your reading
Occasionally we may decline an order — for instance if the birth time is too uncertain to support the question being asked, and rectification is not something you wish to pursue. In that case you receive a full refund and an explanation of why.
Duplicate and failed payments
Any duplicate charge, or a payment taken where no order exists, is refunded in full as soon as we find it or you tell us. You do not need to justify a request of this kind.
How to request a refund
Email ravi@nakshatraos.org from the address you used to order, with your order reference. We will acknowledge within two working days.
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method through Razorpay. Their processing typically takes five to seven working days to appear on your statement, which is outside our control.
