What a reading is

A reading is a written analysis of your natal chart in the classical Vedic (Jyotish) tradition. Every placement in it is computed from your birth date, birth time and birth place using established astronomical methods, and every interpretation is grounded in classical texts.

You receive a written report. A reading is a considered piece of work, not an automated printout, and it is prepared individually.

What a reading is not

This matters more than anything else on this page, so it is stated plainly rather than buried.

• A reading is not medical advice, a diagnosis, or a substitute for consulting a qualified doctor or mental health professional.
• A reading is not legal advice.
• A reading is not financial or investment advice, and nothing in it is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold anything.
• A reading is not a guarantee of any future outcome. Jyotish describes tendencies and timing; it does not determine events, and no responsible astrologer claims otherwise.
• A reading is offered for personal insight and reflection. Decisions you take remain yours.

Your birth details are your responsibility

The accuracy of a reading depends entirely on the accuracy of the birth date, time and place you supply. A birth time wrong by even a few minutes can move house cusps and change the analysis substantially.

Please give the most reliable data you have, and tell us honestly how sure you are of the time — the order form asks. If you supply details that turn out to be incorrect, see the Refund and Cancellation Policy for what we can do.

Ordering and payment

Prices are shown in Indian Rupees and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Payment is processed by Razorpay; we never see or store your card, UPI or banking credentials.

An order is confirmed when payment is captured and we have received your complete birth details. Delivery timelines run from that point, not from the moment of payment.

Delivery

Your report belongs to you, for your own use

You may keep, print and share your report for personal purposes. Copyright in the written text, and in the essays published on this site, remains with the author.

You may not resell a report, republish it commercially, or present it as your own work. Quoting a short passage with attribution to nakshatraos.org is welcome.

Acceptable use

• Do not commission a reading for a third party without their knowledge and agreement.
• Do not use readings to make claims about another person, or in any way intended to harass, deceive or harm.
• Do not attempt to disrupt, scrape or gain unauthorised access to the site.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from any reading is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including decisions taken in reliance on a reading.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Changes

These terms may be updated. The version in force is the one published here on the date of your order, and the last-updated date is shown at the top of this page.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
